New house pics!

Well from the front the house is kindof blah....but here are some inside pictures. There is one of the kitchen, the living room, the built in tv stand, the backyard and the room I like to call the scary pink room....

Escrow!

Well we did it! After 7 months of looking, at countless homes, and five that we tried to buy, we got one! Yesterday we entered escrow on a house! Its on Vale...Which is by Shasta Meadows school, so if you want to drive by the address is 1999.... There were three offers on the house and the bank took ours...I was so excited that I was jumping up and down in Safeway when my real estate lady called.
I will post some pictures the next time we over to see it... Its 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms...And a huge yard! I am so excited! We are set to close on my birthday, May 16th but hopefully it will be sooner....

Maybe God is a Giants fan....

Well, the superbowl, Alicia is dying to hear about it. Well once the Giants kicked the Packers out of the playoffs and were the champions of the NFC, Tim and I began talking about what to do for super bowl, first it was, just the four of us watching at home like normal, for fear of jinxing it. Then we started talking about having people over, and it became a party. We had Tim's friend Josh and his wife Crystal, and three kids, and his sister and two kids and some guys from his work, and my parents. Tim began the big game with a pregame shot of Jim bean with George (in sacramento via ps3 eye). Then after the kick off, everyone was cheering and we were the first to score. Tim was stoked. Then near the end of the first quarter the Pats, drove down the field and held off scoring till the first play of the second quarter, which earned me $100 in the foot ball pool at work Yay!. Then it was a hard battle back and forth with neither team scoring anymore before halftime. At half time I had fun taking pictures of JT in his giants jeresy, and in the hat I made him. I took a old hat of Tims and cut off the logos and glued them on a Jt sized hat. And we gave him the remote to be in controlThen the game was back on, and Tim was kind of, um, yeah, practically passed out on the couch, then he goes wait whats the score? And we tell hime 3-7 and he asks again, and we tell him again, and after about 3 times more of this same questions and answers, hes all they have only scored 7 points and we say yah..... Well this wakes him back up! Around the forth quarter the Giants got the ball and scored a touchdown, well our house went wild! Then the patriots were able to score. The giants then got the ball back on 14 yd line. Tim goes 86 yard touch down drive, as a field goal would not win us the game. (Eli did tell payton that if they were down in the fourth quarter he hoped it would be 4 points not 3 so that they would have to drive to the touchdown.) About halfway through the drive the eli throws this pass to david tyree who did an amazing catch.
Then it was clear that the Giants would be scoring to take the lead. A few plays later with just 39 seconds left we did just that at the time i was taking a picture so it became a little blurryKara got scared of all the screaming and ran to Grandmas lap Then we kicked off back to the pats, who go 4 downs and out. And the giants win! The room went crazy! As did Tim, who got congrats from all his friends Well it was such a good time. Then Tim went around and kissed the kids (and cried). He told Jason that he was his lucky charm since it was his first Superbowl and the giants won. Tim had also said that if the giants won he would quit smoking, a vow that he has kept now for over a week. Yay! The Giants, superbowl XLII champs! It was the best game I have ever seen, And I can't wait for next season. One of the best things was telling the Patriots fan at my work who has been giving me crap for 2 weeks, what up! He practically hid from me the first day that we worked together after the superbowl, but don't worry I found him and bragged a little...
As for Kara, after everyone was gone, and Daddy was asleep, and I was trying to get her to bed, she ran in to the living room, and jumped up and down in front of the TV and said "go giants, win superbowl".......A daughter after her fathers heart....

A Jason blog...

Well he has been neglected in my last one so i thought might as well make him a little blog with some new pics, cause he's so cute! I have been making all his food and he loves it! Right now he is in love with apple pears cereal and a dash of cinnamon mix. He moved into his own room last month and LOVES it! He wakes up from naps smiling everyday! He is working on sitting up and army crawling right now....here are some baby boy cutie pics.......
We went to birthday party for Michelle and we got some of him and Oly, (7 weeks older) And with all the kids.

My little pony's live!

Well after much thought, I decided to take Kara to the my little pony show. I wasn't sure if she would like it, or freak out or just be generally crazy becasue it was during nap time. But I figured might as well try, well I am so glad that I did! She loved it! We got there and got our tickets, and Kara was being so funny! They handed out tea cups to all the kids to help with the show, and Kara was excited! We were waiting for the show to start and some kids started getting star wands, and Kara turns to me and say "Momma, I forgot my magic" and she looks like she is about to cry. So I said do you want to get a magic wand? and she of course said yes! So we go out to the lobby and I am praying that they aren't $30 or some thing. Well it was $10 so I got it. And it was worth the smile on her face.
Then the show started, and they said, if you want to dance, dance if you want to sing, sing....So Kara took advantage of these inivitations. And she loved watching it. Then it was break time and we shared a hot dog. But they didn't have tables so Kara set it on the ground and some mustard driped...oops.
Before we knew it the show was over! We had such a great time. I was so glad we went. (Plus I got to play with all the new features on my camera.) And on the way home Kara, was asleep before we got to the freeway!

So much to post! Lets start with Christmas, since it was a month ago.....

Well Jasons first Christmas was a success! We had such a good two days begining on christmas eve. We went to my in laws for an early dinner, and Kara got to help decorate the tree in Grandmas front yard with her cousins. And of course got olive fingers! A Gurley holiday traditon! After that we went to our anual Christmas eve party at Aunt Shirley's and Uncle Len's. In case you aren't aware, santa visits that party each year and brings presents to the kids. I think that Santa coming and bringing her a present made the whole thing click for Kara! She was in awe of him, and couldn't wait for her name to be called! She had no fear and ran up and sat on his lap! Then we went next door to Aunt Lauries house to get the kids ready for bed, and Chris gave JT his bottle. He was so sweet, its funny to see a tough guy be so sweet to a baby. At home, Kara put our reindeer dust to guide santa to our house and feed the reindeer.and we caught Jersey pretending to be a reindeer)And milk and cookies for santa. Then the kids were off to bed. Tim and I had ton's to do, including putting together toys!
When we awoke Christmas morning Santa had come! He brought Jason an exersaucer and Kara a dora kitchen. (which is what she asked santa for) Kara picked up the phone on the kitchen and said "santa, thank you for my dora kitchen!"......she made everyone breakfast that morning! Including Grandma! After three rounds of presents it was naps, and then off to Dorthy and Daves for dinner and more presents! JT got to see Chris again and we got to chill wit Adam (alah) and Traci! Then it was back home to play with new toys, but not for long, we had a date at Jen's house to see the other cousins..... Baby Anna was sleeping in her cute christmas blanket, and Jackson gave me some smiles. Then he put on his pjs and hung out with JT. We all played uno and the girls watched a movie....It was such a great day!

Busy busy busy!

Well yesterday Jessica asked me "are you ever going to blog again? And the answer is yes. Unfortunately i have been so busy! Between working 6 loooooooong days a week and Christmas shopping and trying to have time with the kids, things are crazy! Add in looking at a few more houses (some good prospects) and working for my dad, and trying to get to the gym life is crazy! I am just looking forward to Christmas eve when life will slow back down with days off with the family. So today I am excited to finally get a Christmas tree! I will post again soon with some pictures! (taken with my super cool new camera....)
