Inspiration....
It's funny, sometimes you don't realize that things that you do in your life inspire other people. I have been working out for about 6 months and have been building up my stamina of running. I can now run for 20 minutes with out stopping and am working on speeding up. I remember the days when I would run for 30 seconds to a minute to try to reach a goal and then take 1-2 minutes to recover.
Today at the gym another woman says to me that I inspire her. This is a thin girl around my age, who I see several days a week there. I say "really?" and she says "yes. I see you running everyday on that treadmill and I could never do that."
I personally never thought that I would inspire someone, in that way.
Interesting....It makes me think about the people that inspire me, and if they know that they do?
There are so many people who inspire me in every way of my life.... Like my friend Heather who has inspired me to go green, who I think about guiltily if I go to the store and forget my reusable bags. Like Jamie (and the other kidventure teachers) who puts so much work in every week to make church fun for kids. And Shannon my floor sup at work, who I wanted so badly to not like and I can't not like her, her confidence and personality just won't let me and I am thankful for that because I would've missed out on this person who has become a friend. Joel for inspiring me everyweek with a message that is relevant in my life, that I feel like he is talking straight to me. And for not kicking me and Kara out because she is dancing all over or trying to play the drums on the chairs and asking if its time to go to kids church yet. My Mom who has had a not so great last 3 years and still keeps on trucking, to doctors appointments and dialysis, and never says how much she hates it although I know she must. And Dad who takes such good care of her and is so passionate about it. And Tim who knows me so well that he isn't afraid to point out things to me when he sees fault in my thoughts. Who has become such and inspirtation to me and the things I never knew he could do, like keep his calm when one of our babies have their first fall and I am freaking out. Or get Jason to lie still to change a diaper when he always crawls away from me.
Who inspires you?

My Biggest Loser Strategy....
Here is my stratagey to win the Bridge biggest loser....
Exercise---
*Bump my work out from 1 hour to one and half everyday. Include more running and try to make it in time for the 9am class. Switch up my work out to burn more calories, my new goal is 750 in one hour.
*That being said, get a new battery for my heart rate watch so that it will help me track my progress. It froze about 3 weeks ago.
*Try to add a second workout in a day, after work, maybe running around a friends neighbor hood or just hitting the gym again.
*Take the kids to the park and while they are playing do some exercise. Squats on the slide steps, pullups on the monkey bars and my favorite (and the hardest) pushups with one hand on each swing.
*Use Jason and Kara as weights for cardio stair climbing and bicep curls.
*At work, do lunges accross the kitchen and 10 jumping jacks everytime I go in the walkin. Also try to convince the hostesses to seat me in several sections so that I have to move around the restraunt at a faster pace.
Eating---
*Eat veggies and fruit and try to not eat mac and cheese with the kids.
*Not snack on the kids lunches and dinners while I am getting it ready and not eating their leftovers.
*At work.....Absolutly No tumbleweeds, fries and bread. When I see someone making an oreo shake, donot decide to have one too! Make my salad with more vinegar and nonfat italian and just a dab of blue cheese. Drink only water and club soda. If we go out afterwork for a drink, have wine not a margarita. And none of Rivers delicious fried olives.
*Get back on my myfitnesspal.com account to log food and exercise.
*Buy more healthy choice steamer meals, Yummy!
*No more midafternoon blended coffee drinks :(. Instead Iced nonfat and (gulp)sugarfree ones, if I have that craving.
I am only telling you this so that you know how to (try) to beat me!

A peer pressure blog
Jenn and I are planning on giving Jason and Jackson Mohawks for Halloween. We are trying to get a third 1 year old to be part of the group.... As Jamie said no. So we are calling out to Jessica and little Wesley. Wouldn't he look good with a Mohawk?

Get ready to stomp them out!
The giants kicked off the season in style with our first of many wins! Luckliy Plaxico Burris signed his new contract 20 minutes before the game, which caused Tim to yell "35 million dollars" every time he caught an awesome pass. The game was great and I was happy to see that our defense wasn't too bad off with out all our superstars from last year. This is the video of Strahans introduction of the Superbowl Champion Ny Giants!
