Sabatoged!

This is what I saw tonight when I went to get bread for my first table....
Normally when there are extra brownies laying around they are kind of dried out and hard from sitting under the fan all afternoon, but I touched one and they were soft....I resisted all night, yet it wasn't easy!

In the name of good health

I was at the gym the other day and was reading O magazine and they said that drinking up to three glasses of red wine everyday can decrease you chances of having dementia when you get older by a half. My work buddies Heather and Karly have decided that we should try this treatment... I will let you know if it works.
PS. This EOS Petite Sirah is the best!

My husband is the best.

Due to my dilemma last night I ended up recording survivor and supernatural. Tim today found Greys that he can download onto the PS3 so I can still watch it on the tv, and with no commercials! YAY I love having a computer nerd husband!

Major Dilemma

I just don't know what to do tonight. I have to work. Survivor and Greys anatomy both premiere tonight sweet, good thing that I have the dvr that can record two shows at once. here is my dilemma. Tim has it set to record supernatural his only show that he watches everyweek. The way I see it I have two options,
1. Take off his supernatural and hope that he decides to get it on his PS3.
2. Just record survivor and watch Greys on ABC.com.... But its just not the same.... HUM......

48 hours....

It has been almost two days since I posted and Jen was begining to worry so I thought I would post. I have been busy! Yesterday my fiends husband came over with a tractor and got rid of all the weeds in the backyard so now we are one step closer to putting in the grass. Unfortunately when they were out there some pipes got busted, so today Tim and I have been digging trenches and trouble shooting the whole system. We have it kind of figured out, so now its time to go to the store and get the stuff to fix it. Otherwise I have been working out and getting ready for this weeks weigh in.
Kara has learned that she is really really cute and can talk people into things. Last night my parents were watching her and Jason and They were planning on taking them ot black bear for dinner. Well Kara wanted Taco bell because that's where papa normally takes her. Papa says hey you gotta talk to grandma about that. So Kara turns on the charm and goes "Grandma," ever so sweetly... "do you want to go to taco bell?"....Well it was so cute, grandma said yes. I guess that they eventually talked Kara into black bear but it involved a bribe of ice cream.

I can't wait....

For dancing with the stars is finally on tonight and tmmorrow and the next day. YAY! They have a great cast this time! I can't pick my faorite until after the premire but already I am rooting for Susan Luci....and Misty May....

Bittersweet

Congrats Jed, Brenda and Jed for being the first weeks winners. To me this just showed me that everyone is taking this alot more serious than I thought, thats great more motivation. I am sad that I only lost .8lbs this week, but I am reminding my self that i did lose over 2 last week, and 27 since march (unfortunatly all before the competion started), and that maybe I will have a big week this week. I am just going to work harder and eat better. I already started with an extra intesive workout this morning. Anyone who wants to meet to walk, jog or do playground work out this week let me know.
Anyways congrats everyone!

Inspiration....

It's funny, sometimes you don't realize that things that you do in your life inspire other people. I have been working out for about 6 months and have been building up my stamina of running. I can now run for 20 minutes with out stopping and am working on speeding up. I remember the days when I would run for 30 seconds to a minute to try to reach a goal and then take 1-2 minutes to recover.
Today at the gym another woman says to me that I inspire her. This is a thin girl around my age, who I see several days a week there. I say "really?" and she says "yes. I see you running everyday on that treadmill and I could never do that."
I personally never thought that I would inspire someone, in that way.
Interesting....It makes me think about the people that inspire me, and if they know that they do?
There are so many people who inspire me in every way of my life.... Like my friend Heather who has inspired me to go green, who I think about guiltily if I go to the store and forget my reusable bags. Like Jamie (and the other kidventure teachers) who puts so much work in every week to make church fun for kids. And Shannon my floor sup at work, who I wanted so badly to not like and I can't not like her, her confidence and personality just won't let me and I am thankful for that because I would've missed out on this person who has become a friend. Joel for inspiring me everyweek with a message that is relevant in my life, that I feel like he is talking straight to me. And for not kicking me and Kara out because she is dancing all over or trying to play the drums on the chairs and asking if its time to go to kids church yet. My Mom who has had a not so great last 3 years and still keeps on trucking, to doctors appointments and dialysis, and never says how much she hates it although I know she must. And Dad who takes such good care of her and is so passionate about it. And Tim who knows me so well that he isn't afraid to point out things to me when he sees fault in my thoughts. Who has become such and inspirtation to me and the things I never knew he could do, like keep his calm when one of our babies have their first fall and I am freaking out. Or get Jason to lie still to change a diaper when he always crawls away from me.
Who inspires you?

My Biggest Loser Strategy....

Here is my stratagey to win the Bridge biggest loser....

Exercise---
*Bump my work out from 1 hour to one and half everyday. Include more running and try to make it in time for the 9am class. Switch up my work out to burn more calories, my new goal is 750 in one hour.
*That being said, get a new battery for my heart rate watch so that it will help me track my progress. It froze about 3 weeks ago.
*Try to add a second workout in a day, after work, maybe running around a friends neighbor hood or just hitting the gym again.
*Take the kids to the park and while they are playing do some exercise. Squats on the slide steps, pullups on the monkey bars and my favorite (and the hardest) pushups with one hand on each swing.
*Use Jason and Kara as weights for cardio stair climbing and bicep curls.
*At work, do lunges accross the kitchen and 10 jumping jacks everytime I go in the walkin. Also try to convince the hostesses to seat me in several sections so that I have to move around the restraunt at a faster pace.

Eating---
*Eat veggies and fruit and try to not eat mac and cheese with the kids.
*Not snack on the kids lunches and dinners while I am getting it ready and not eating their leftovers.
*At work.....Absolutly No tumbleweeds, fries and bread. When I see someone making an oreo shake, donot decide to have one too! Make my salad with more vinegar and nonfat italian and just a dab of blue cheese. Drink only water and club soda. If we go out afterwork for a drink, have wine not a margarita. And none of Rivers delicious fried olives.
*Get back on my myfitnesspal.com account to log food and exercise.
*Buy more healthy choice steamer meals, Yummy!
*No more midafternoon blended coffee drinks :(. Instead Iced nonfat and (gulp)sugarfree ones, if I have that craving.

I am only telling you this so that you know how to (try) to beat me!

A peer pressure blog

Jenn and I are planning on giving Jason and Jackson Mohawks for Halloween. We are trying to get a third 1 year old to be part of the group.... As Jamie said no. So we are calling out to Jessica and little Wesley. Wouldn't he look good with a Mohawk?

Get ready to stomp them out!

The giants kicked off the season in style with our first of many wins! Luckliy Plaxico Burris signed his new contract 20 minutes before the game, which caused Tim to yell "35 million dollars" every time he caught an awesome pass. The game was great and I was happy to see that our defense wasn't too bad off with out all our superstars from last year. This is the video of Strahans introduction of the Superbowl Champion Ny Giants!

So its only Sept. first but.....

For some reason I am so excited about Halloween. I can't wait. I want to get the kids costumes and for the fall weather to set in. I think that it has something to do with we didn't really have a summer due to the fires and smoke that I am just ready for it to be over and turn seasons. I also am excited to have our own house where we can go trick or treating in our own neighborhood and hand out candy.
So what I really need is costume ideas. I want to have the kids do a theme. And maybe Tim and I too. Kara has mentioned Ariel. So we thought, Jason as Sebastian or flounder, then I said Daddy can be, King Tritan (although he said he didn't have the abbs for it). And what does that leave me as the seawitch? Kara also mentioned Cinderella. Then I would make Jason, Gus Gus. And Tim and I wouldn't dress up. So anyone have any great ideas? Either for just the kids or for all of us? Wouldn't it be fun to be the Jetson's? Hum....
I am also thinking about sewing my kids costumes. That is very brave for me. I can follow directions very well but....or if I get stuck I could recruit, Aunt Dixie, Granny, and Ada's sewing group for help. That's another idea.
