Busy busy busy!

Well yesterday Jessica asked me "are you ever going to blog again? And the answer is yes. Unfortunately i have been so busy! Between working 6 loooooooong days a week and Christmas shopping and trying to have time with the kids, things are crazy! Add in looking at a few more houses (some good prospects) and working for my dad, and trying to get to the gym life is crazy! I am just looking forward to Christmas eve when life will slow back down with days off with the family. So today I am excited to finally get a Christmas tree! I will post again soon with some pictures! (taken with my super cool new camera....)

A pirate, and a duck oh my!

Well we just had Jason's first halloween! It was a fun time! We went to Jen's house to get all the kid's pictures in their coustumes. Jason was wearing Kara's first coustume

We also had the Chesire cat (Anna), a cute dragon (Jackson), a pink poodle (Bella), a mermaid (Tessa), and a roster (Wesley). While Kara was not into taking pictures she prefured to throw toys down Jens stairs and take a nap in Bella's bed. AGH!

After that we went to Kimberlys and trick-or-treated, then it was off to Grandma Nina's appartment building. There was about 10 older ladies sitting in the common room that all had treats. Kara was quite popular. We heard later that a couple of them commented that the weren't going up to their appartments until Kara had come. And Kara didn't fail to entertain, she said "Argh Trick-or-Treat, give me candy! Please!"
After that it was to my parents and then around to the neighborhood by them. After the first couple houses she started going to doors by her self (us hanging back a little) it was so cute to see her knock on the doors and thank people. After she was done at one house she would say, "I want to go to another!" or "I want to get more candy!". Sometimes she would end up with other kids at a door and she would try to help hand out the candy people would give it to her and she would give it to the other kids. One time she chased down a little boy because he only got one piece and she wanted him to have two.
All in all it was such a fun day with Kara crashing practicly as soon as we got home. I guess candy does that to you.

House hunters!

Well Tim and I are thinking about making that big jump to buy a house. Its something that we have been talking about and thinking about for awhile. With the market droping like it has we are reay to take the dive. We found one that we loved this week, big backyard, hardwood floors cute cute cute! We put an offer in on it, but it was too late someone else thought it was cute too and snatched it up. Bummer, but we are still on the hunt for that perfect one. Keep your fingers crossed!

What Jason has two Mommies?

My little girl has become a mother hen. She is always taking care of her little brother, which I guess is good because at least she doesn't despise him. Sometimes she knows what he wants or what to do before me. Like today he was laying on the coach and he started fussing, and I was busy. Kara went and got a blanket out, laid it down on the floor by the TV and went to pick Jason up to lay him on it. Lucky me I got there in time. But he loved laying on it. This is something that she has seen Tim do with him before. And just now she tried to take his temperature. Lucky for us it was just an ear thermometer.

If you don't love the Giants you can't live here....

Well some of you may know that my husband is a fan of the New York Giants. Well if you didn't know you probabally haven't met him. Now we are four weeks into football season and its funny to see how into it Kara is. She likes to get her "giants on" which is her cheerleader dress, that is getting a little short, I may have to invest in a new one. She also gets her pom poms out and does cheers. Like go Giants this is a dance that involves moving your arms and hips, she likes to have Jason do this dance with her. And one of her favorites is, give me a G, give me a I....ect.. She also likes to celebrate touchdowns, unfortunatly sometimes she celebrates for the wrong team. And somtimes when we are out and about and she sees football on tv she will start dancing "go giants". Now Jason just likes to kind of sit and watch, then he normally takes a nap. I have enclosed a few pictures of Sundays at our house. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

My first blog....

Well I thought that I would try this blog thing.... Things are going good with having two kids, or at least I am getting used to it. I learned how to get them to take a nap at the same time, thats an accomplishment. Jason is getting bigger, but hes still small. People always comment that he looks like a newborn! And then I tell them that he is two months old and the ask if he was a premie... Oh well he will grow. We are working on sleeping, unfortuneatly if one wakes up the other does too! Kara is such a light sleeper!
Kara is also a great big sister, she always finds Jasons binkie and loves to get him blankets. Unfotunelty she thinks that her pink blankets are the ones he like the best so half the time I have to reason with her that we should get a different one before we leave the house.
Last night was my first night back at work and it went fine. Tim sent me a video of Jason smiling about half way through my shift, that helped! I didn't forget anything either so I guess three months off didn't hurt.
