I don't think it mattered what Ron said. His kid was voting Kristen off no matter what. He knows that she is the only one close to catching him for biggest weight loss percentage.
I would also bet the conversation was taken out of context. They probably discussed both options, but the editing team only showed them talking about that last option to add to the drama for the show.
And at this point of the competition with only two weeks left, it isn't about who needs to be there anymore. It is all about winning the money.
No kidding! But Joel's right, it's about winning at this point. I wanted Helen to be the one to go, not Kristen. But Kristen looked amazing in her follow-up! I think Tara and Mike will be dueling it out in the end, but we'll see. They're both super determined.
P.S. I really, really hope Ron and Mike not only help the other brother, I hope Biggest Loser either does a spot on it, or brings him on the show at age 18. That'd be pretty amazing!
am i the only one that saw this as a mistake... kristin's weight loss % isn't great, she's not top 3 right now... also, they lost a vote for next week with out kristin being there if ron or mike fall below... also, helen is tara's last and only friend and if she was lost it could have destroyed tara... bad move all around.

Glad that you all think it was ok that Ron stabbed Kristin in the back! :) I will be watching my back... I hope that the conversation was taken out of context and maybe that they explain that on the finale.
I bet that Ron purposely falls bellow the yellow line next week just to make it easier for Mike to stay above. And no one will vote off Ron because he isn't a threat.
That is a good idea Kristen. If I were Ron I would totally do that. They worked hard all season to keep their team together. Why not use it to their full advantage in the final week.
And Matt, Helen and Tara is the weakest alliance I have ever seen. Helen ate all those cookies with Tara's name on it during the marathon causing her to lose $25,000. And Tara has always said she can't stand Helen....until last week when she realized that she would need her vote because Ron, Mike, Kristen, and possibly Filipe would never vote to save her.
